TAZZIO PARIS
Artist
Born in 1967, Tazzio lives and works in Paris. After graduating from the École Municipales des Arts et Techniques in Paris, he studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Techniques du Théâtre, where he specialized in scenography under the guidance of Pierre Hardy. Meanwhile, he starts painting and shooting photographs of his first models. His range of expertise includes drawing, videoart, scenography, and dramaturgy. Driven by his eclectism, he is the co-manager of Sur Terre from 1997 to 2005, a consulting agency in visual communication and creative style. Alongside his activity as a photographer, he has been teaching applied arts since 2011.
Tazzio’s creative style is inspired by the arts of theatre and dance. He was in charge of the costumes for several of plays directed by Joël Jouanneau and he has been a collaborator of the acclaimed choreographer Nathalie Pernette. His connection with dramaturgy inspires hybrid photographic works dealing with the narrative of desire and the deconstruction of the dialectics of masculinity and femininity.
His first exhibition « Pan ! Parade » opened in 2014 at the Jeune Théâtre National in Paris.
